Thanksgiving 2008, House of Aziz - Hummus, yam, cranberry salad, stuffing, etc.
Power Fish restaurant, Lake Yojoa, Honduras - fried fish, fried plantain, pickled cabbage, chile. This restaraunt is on a lake in the middle of Honduras, on the highway between the capital, Tegucigalpa, and the nothern coast where the cities of Tela and La Ceiba are. My motorcycle had some tire problems due to the potholes in the road so I had to stop for repairs near Siguatepeque. The owner of the auto repair shop, apparently a descendent of Daniel Boone, was nice enough to take me with him and some of the employees on a trip to visit the lake and this restaurant.
Delicious Burmese cuisine in Mandalay. Small dishes well seasoned with chile, lime, garlic, vinegar, fish sauce, tamarind, nuts, seeds, onions, and other spices.
Vegetarian restaraunt in Buenos Aires - Veg lasagna, veg burger, squash soup, etc.
Nachos al Chele Encino, Nicaragua
